#AdventWord: Focus

Focus on the snowflake

Focus: You’ll never know what you can see without fiddling with your lens a bit.

Perspective is one of those traits we forget we have. So much of what we hear, see, and understand is shaped by our experience and preconceptions.

Today, can you step out and try to see the world around you differently?

Third Sunday of Advent (BCP, Public Domain)

Stir up your power, O Lord, and with great might come among us; and, because we are sorely hindered by our sins, let your bountiful grace and mercy speedily help and deliver us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory, now and for ever. Amen.
